Emma Dibben

Paintings and Prints by Bristol Jamaica Street artist Emma Dibben.

Emma Dibben was born in 1981 in Newcastle upon Tyne. She grew up in Sheffield and then moved to Cornwall to study by the sea. She graduated from Falmouth College of Arts with a first class BA honours in Illustration. She also spent three snowy months studying stone lithography at The Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland.
Since graduating in 2004, Emma has worked as a freelance Illustrator for a wide range of clients including Waitrose Food Illustrated, The Guardian, Hodder&Stoughton, Penguin, The Saturday Times, Octopus, House&Garden, and Time Out. Her work has appeared in newspapers, magazines and on book covers, greetings cards, ceramics, jam jars and a bottle of gin.
Emma draws on travel and nature for her inspiration, in her commercial work this has lead her into food illustration, and in her personal work she is fascinated by the insect world.
