Erica Sturla

Artist Statement:

Erica trained at art school in the 1980s and specialised in Fashion illustration and journalism. Her working background is graphic design and illustration.

For the last eleven years she has worked extensively in Polymer clay and acrylics, to create scenes with colourful, three-dimensional and quirky characters set against painted canvas backgrounds.
Her designs appear on ranges of greetings cards featuring the humorous clay figures which are sold in shops throughout the UK
